Outspoken to Speak, Blog At PubCon South!

March 5, 2009
By Lisa Barone in Internet Marketing Conferences

It’s been quite a month for the ladies of Outspoken Media. From launching, to hitting up SMX West, adjusting to life as a startup, and being introduced to some phenomenal clients (you know who you are) — it’s been nonstop action.  And judging by our calendars for the next few months, we’re showing absolutely no sign of slowing down.

Next up for Outspoken Media? PubCon South on March 11-13.  Are we ready for Austin, Texas? Hell yeah, baby!

Rhea will be bringing the heat to Wednesday’s Brand and Reputation Management panel with fellow experts Tony Wright, David Naffziger, and Krista Neher. I recommend you check that one out, especially if you won’t be able to make her talk at the SEMNE meeting on March 18.   Google may not be able to remove pages you don’t like, but Rhea usually can.

I’ll be at the show to once again liveblog myself to death. Cross your fingers that my new laptop arrives before PubCon. Otherwise, the panelists will have to speak very loudly, as my current laptop purrs like a Mack truck.

You can find my tentative liveblog schedule below. Make sure you come over to say hi should you find yourself in the same session. Just don’t try and talk to me while the speakers are doing their thing. Otherwise, I may accidentally have to hit you in the face with my laptop. Love you!

Here’s the schedule:

Wednesday, March 11

9:00am-9:50am: Guy Kawasaki Fireside Chat With Chris Brogan
9:55am-11:05am: Emerging Social and New Media Landscape
11:10am-12:20pm: Brand and Reputation Management
1:20pm-2:30pm: Intersection of Search and Social Media
2:55pm-4:15pm: Twitter Landscape – An In-depth View of the Twitter Ecosystem
4:20pm-5:30pm: Organic Keyword Research and Selection

Thursday, March 12

9:00am-9:50am: Keynote Address – Matt Cutts of Google
9:55am-11:05am: Top Ten Techniques for Writing Headlines That Rock
11:10am-12:20pm: Affiliate Marketing and Performance Marketing
1:20pm-2:30pm: Career Gut Check – SEM/SEO Employment Landscape
2:55pm-4:15pm: Intersection of SEO and PR Agencies
4:20pm-5:30pm: Super Session: Social Media & Business

We hope to see you guys in Austin and maybe put some faces to the names.  Oh yeah, and I get to bring my cowboy boots to Austin, right?
