Annie Cushing Joins Outspoken Media as Chief Data Officer
Outspoken Media adds enterprise analytics consulting and data analysis team

Troy, New York – Annie Cushing has joined the digital marketing agency, Outspoken Media, as Chief Data Officer (CDO), which will expand Outspoken Media’s service offering to include analytics consulting and audits, real-time reporting, data visualization, and enterprise training. Outspoken Media is a renowned agency with an experienced team of social, outreach and SEO consultants led by CEO and industry veteran Rhea Drysdale. Cushing, who owns Annielytics, an analytics consultancy in Philadelphia, PA, has been an analytics thought leader, international speaker, educator, and blogger in the marketing industry for more than ten years.

Cushing is best known for building an impressive collection of analytics, SEO audit, and digital marketing tool resources that have helped thousands of marketers improve their brands’ performance online and realize new opportunities for growth. These resources will remain fresh and available to the public while Cushing builds out a team of data analysts, tools, and innovative enterprise solutions at Outspoken Media. Cushing will also continue to speak internationally and share her experience and findings with the greater digital marketing community in her role as CDO.

“I’m excited to join Outspoken to help build a team of analysts that will enhance Outspoken’s current offerings with greater access to and assimilation of marketing data,” Cushing said. “I chose Outspoken because I’ve known Rhea as a friend and colleague for years. Knowing she wants to expand more into the analytics space, it is the perfect fit. I have the opportunity to be part of a team that has the infrastructure and developer support to build out more sophisticated reporting systems than I could do as a solo analyst.”

Outspoken Media CEO Rhea Drysdale says, “Two years ago, we identified the need for a dedicated analytics and training position. I felt strongly that this role needed to be at the highest level of the agency to inject cutting-edge analysis, process, and curiosity into every fiber of the agency’s culture. When Annie and I started talking, we realized we were an incredible complement to each other and her passion is infectious. We have the same vision to build a world class team of analysts and strategists who produce high-performance, data-driven, and creative client solutions. We can confidently say we are beyond excited to have Annie on the team. To quote a client, ‘This news just gave us goosebumps. You’re building the dream team at Outspoken Media. We can’t wait to work together!’”

The new analytics department at Outspoken Media will immediately include a second new hire. In addition to analytics audits, real-time dashboards, and enterprise education, the team will be able to produce sophisticated data visualization with tools like Tableau, statistical analysis, and online surveys. Cushing’s team will work with the agency to grow the new analytics service offering while providing exceptional insights and reliable data packaged for different enterprise-level roles to current and new clients.
