Klout is just a number, who cares about it. Instead of worrying about Klout, id rather build connections, and meet new interesting people, – I guess Klout can just work in the background.

Most of the value I’ve seen on Twitter has been community building, cross-promotion with allies, and finding common goals between our company, and those other industries that we share an audience with. Generally speaking, our audience is mostly made up of Facebook users. But, our peers are on Twitter. And allying ourselves with them has allowed us to build better content for our audience. It’s those people that are the ones we’re seeking to serve, and social gives us the perspective we need to do it better the more we continue with it.

Yet again, social is still a longview strategy with all of these kinds of efforts. But, we are definitely seeing traction when it comes to engagement on our product pages, and not just in mentions, likes, shares, comments. Eventually, there’s enough trust there that this sort of thing really does begin to happen. It’s exciting.

Yeah great suggestion.I thought Few things like building professional network or getting recommendations LinkedIn were possible for LinkedIn.But I do can use twitter too.

While I’ve only done it a few times, I’ve been able to secure some great link building opportunities using Twitter and have even helped a few peeps with their SEO questions just by monitoring Twitter. Certainly a whole laundry list of things you can do with Twitter!

Great post Lisa, but it doesn’t address my biggest concern – I’ve been on Twitter for years and I haven’t seen unicorn one. Where the hell are my unicorns?!?
