We use the hRecipe microformat as well; however, we still see our recipes filter out when the user selects the Google Recipes section. The rich snippets appear correctly on the SERP, but we still don't show up in the Recipes filter. Any idea why?
Also, a note to the community: don't be worried after you add your chosen microformat if you do not automatically see it register in SERPs - it can take Google a while to begin displaying your rich snippet version.

Danika, you have my geek-wheels turning again. THANKS ALOT!

Actually, I'm already a big fan of schemas. Something I still use on a regular basis is the Getting Started (schema.org/docs/gs.html) page on schema.org and highly recommend anyone who is new to the idea check this page out.

Great stuff!

A project that I'm working on also uses the hRecipe microformat, which may increase Google-foo of recipes posted. Other microformats may be germane as well - like hReview, if you are reviewing a restaurant meal, for example.

I've been bandying about proposing a nutrition info microformat. I'm weary though, since I personally feel people need to focus on quality of food over quantity, and number obsession doesn't always assist in health goals. Then again, I love stats. :-)
