Yeah exactly, the availability of the $5 article has really filled some niches with absolute rubbish.

Finding even a reasonable writer with a background in your niche, whether through a service like TB or locally through universities etc., is worth 5 good writers with no experience of the subject matter I reckon.

Anyway, forgot to say in my last comment, great post I enjoy your blog a lot.

Haven’t played with Textbroker much, but one of our strengths thanks to the team we have is high-quality content creation. Really like the recommendation to build a relationship with the writers that produce better quality work. That’s so important to do and I feel that too many marketers rely on cheap content production, which to be frank contributed to the Panda update. Whenever we invest the community we’re using, we make it a better experience for everyone. I know that sounds terribly cheesy, but I have to believe that’s the case.

Not a particularly new one, but I find textbroker is an absolutely fantastic way to meet genuinely good writers in a niche, especially when your keyword research has you buzzing with lists of blog post ideas for a client.

I wouldnt go anywhere near writers under 4 stars and once you’ve paid top whack for a few 5 star blog posts or articles you can offer longer term or higher volume sets for better rates with individual writers.

The quality contrast against something like odesk is a different league altogether. That quality + an excellent API = massive win.
