Such a good analysis! If I could just get this message through to my clients it would make the world of difference. As a designer I follow trends and offer professional designs, but every client wants to be a designer himself – making the end result a sad story – please leave the work to the professionals.

Great article, I do agree with Nick’s point about making your website organized. If you were an un-organized waiter then I doubt customers would want to order from you, especially if you are dressed sloppy and your hair is a mess. I believe that this is a good analogy because appearance is everything offline, as well as online. You don’t want customers to come to your site if it is unorganized. Yeah, although it’s nice to think everything isn’t surface level, it is what it is sometimes.
