Where Is Outspoken Media – Aug & Sept Edition

August 18, 2011
By Lisa Barone in Internet Marketing Conferences

It’s August. For some folks that means the end of summer, for others it means the beginning of a new school year. But here in the SEO world it means one important thing – conference season is about to kick into high gear and send SEOs and marketers all over the globe. And, well, this year is no different.

Over the next few months, Outspoken Media will be speaking, blogging and making the rounds at a number of different conferences and events. Where can you find us? Go grab a pen. You may want to write some of this down.

Affiliate Summit East – August 21-23

If you haven’t already purchased your ticket for Affiliate Summit, well, you’re out of luck because it’s sold out. And with good reason, Affiliate Summit East is one of the best shows all year. Unfortunately, I won’t be making it down this year like I have in years past but Rhea will be speaking on Monday’s SEO Site Clinic alongside a power-packed panel of Bruce Clay, Stephan Spencer and Michael Streko. If you’re in town, that’s definitely a session you’ll want to make. And if you could, take notes for me. Thanks! ;)

Hudson Valley 140 Conference – August 23

On her way back from NYC, I’ll be meeting up with Rhea in Kingston, NY so that we can present together at the Hudson Valley 140 Conference on how to find talent locally. Yes, that’s right. Rhea and I will be speaking on a panel together. Because we don’t spend nearly enough time together already. If you’re local, we hope you’ll trek on over to Hudson and come chat with us. We’ve never had an opportunity to present together before so I know we’re both looking forward to this. Tickets are still available so get on it.

SMX East – September 13-15

It wouldn’t be Fall without a trip down to New York City to attend SMX East. Rhea will be in town to moderate some sessions, while I’ll be manning the liveblogging action. If you’re coming to SMX, be sure to track us down and say hello. I’ll be posting my liveblogging schedule for SMX in a few weeks to help make your Lisa Stalking that much easier. If you’re not registered yet for SMX, I’d do it soon. It tends to sell out. SMX is awesome that way.

Marketing Profs Search Marketing School – September 26

Search Marketing School will be in session over at Marketing Profs September 15-30 with a series of live, online classes taught by some of this industry’s most awesome voices. For the price of admission you’ll get access to 13 live classes with a Q&A period at the end of each one. You’ll also have access to the recordings for a full year so that you can watch and relearn from the material over and over (and over) again. Rhea will be jumping into the teacher’s chair for the live September 26th class where she’ll dish on Social Media Tools and Tactics for SEO and offer a Q&A at the end. If you don’t have the budget to travel to a faraway land, then registering for this Search Marketing school is a great way to get access to all these great minds from one spot. At just $595, it’s an impressive value. You can register here.

Looking ahead, you can also expect to see Outspoken Media speaking at:

What’d I say? Busy couple of months, right? Drop us a comment below to let us know which events we’ll see you at this year or what coverage you’re most looking forward to.
