Q #1) First off I’m a web designer just trying to learn enough SEM/SEO to make myself a better designer/developer… so please excuse me if this is a dumb question but I would like to clarify what this means below-does this include multiple domains that lead to the same website home page?:

“Watch out for Duplicate Content: Multiple URLs leading to the same piece of content is duplicate content. It triggers Google’s “duplicate content filter’ – all but one gets filtered. It also results in a page rank dilution.”

Thanks Lisa for the useful information as usual. However, I have to say that its OK to do SEO analysis to get some direction in content but using SEO to drive social media strategy is a little too much.

This session makes a great point. Think beyond the link; your SEO strategy is clearly connected to your social media strategy. That’s where silo’d departments lose out.
