I agree, adding blogs has to give value, seem impartial and create credibility. I say keep blogs short and simple. The extract [great ideas in wordpress] are my personal favourites. Blogs that create discussion I think are the killers. It’s what journalists do all the time, argue, present and let go. The fans or enemies of a controversial idea keep a post going for days after.

An excellelent summary.I have been following some of the tips mentioned here,and have huge success with my feeds’ subscibers.
Tip: Whenever I post a new blog article I always ping my rss feeds and get a quick googlebot response.

There is some good information here that really does work well. One thing I really like is the idea of running a contest. I do it for one of my blogs and manage to pull some good links as well as build up a decent mailing list.

BTW, knee socks are sexy!
