Couple of points to add: First, you did not mention technology like ours! From the last line, &quot;Brain melting&quot;-perhaps you have heard enough about remarketing, retargeting, remessaging, whatever you want to call it :) but you should take a look at our site (Fetchforce.com) and add it to your list of remarking techniques. 

One point we @FetchForce disagree on is the statement, &quot;Remarketing is only full functional once a list reaches at least 500 unique users.&quot; While this may hold true in some or even many cases, studies have shown that the typical user who abandons makes a purchase within 36 hours of abandoning. Thus, real-time, automatically triggered emails can be a huge boost to most e-commerce companies.
