Nice write-up and summary, especially helpful for the folks that couldn't make it. I thought Shoe's was the most useful session of the show is it just me or were the rest of the sessions weaker than normal this year?

We produced the DVDs Shoe gave away to attendees, thought that was a cool move from Shoe, the content came straight from his SMS 2.0 product.

Great round up Lisa,

I was there. I think overall it was great presentation.... It might be hard to pair some products with the "cleavage". Perhaps the main point Jeremy was making is to "think outside the box" - as in the example of mugshot picture of an affiliate.

I wish my fingers could "dance" that fast on the keyboard, I hardly was able scribble just a few words.

Great job! Now I know where to get a great recap of all the sessions.

I actually have to disagree with the cleavage concept not because it doesn't work, but because FB doesn't allow it. I do marketing for a lot of plastic surgeons and tried about 6 ad versions for one campaign that were all disapproved due even the slightest hint of cleavage (campaign was about breast augmentation and the models in the pics were covered up). I started with a tasteful bikini top shot and ended with a photo that showed no cleavage whatsoever. Maybe FB is more strict lately, or maybe I was really really unlucky...

What I have tested however with image ads is logo vs. image vs. image w/text, and the clear winner was image w/text...

Hey Lisa,

Great info from @shoemoney and thanks to you for compiling the info in such a concise way. Very well done!

I have run a number of campaigns and also found that CPC was the lower cost way to go. Of course, I didn't have the resources to use the CPM method and turn the ads on and off ... that's an interesting option and perhaps even a great idea for an automation tool. hmmmm ....
