When I read about how much fun you had, and how much value you got out of the event it makes all of those months of 18 hour days worth every minute.

LOVED your point about authenticity! There’s a huge difference between a blogger who shares stories you can relate to and a blogger who just writes ad infinitum about what they ate for breakfast. Your customers want to learn something and they want to feel connected to you – but they don’t want you to step out of the realm in which you teach them something. That’s what keeps them coming back.

Thank you for this recap of BlogWorldExpo2010. I am quite new to the blogging world, so I have a lot to learn! I like your point about free is not a business model, and I am working hard to create my strategy of converting visitors to customers.
