Thanks for Lisa. Been looking for blogs to guest post on as I am almost ready to launch my site. Oddly enough there isn’t much in the way of detailed information out there.

You really nailed it though, you must build a relationship first then ask for a guest post later.

The point about creating great content off your website is something that is really not talked about much but extremely important.

I like guest blogging a lot too. I am sure I should be doing it more. Your approach to targeting and finding blogs then writing for that audience is sure to make anyone’s efforts more productive.

The key is in writing great content for another audience so they have a reason to click through to your site, hoping to find more.

I see below you found the stats, but in general it’s actually quite hard to track how much traffic guest posting can send. After all, most people read blogs in their inbox or in feed readers so unless you have some advanced analytics in place, you can’t really determine the real numbers.

Even if you don’t get the traffic you’re looking for, at least there’s a link which always helps ;)

Almost like you have access to my brain (scary). Was making a list of SEO related blogs earlier this week. I’m long overdue in the guest post department. I’m getting off the stoop, was just relaxing a bit. :)
